Accessibility Statement

This website is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is considered when new pages, vacancies and forms are added, not only at launch.

• Semantic headings, landmarks and page titles so screen readers can navigate.
• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus style.
• Text and interface colours are checked for contrast against our cream and green palette.
• Form fields have permanent visible labels, clear error messages and helpful hints.
• Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• The site reflows and remains usable on mobile devices and at 200% zoom.
• Motion is kept minimal and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting.

Some vacancy descriptions and CV attachments are supplied by employers and candidates and may not always meet the same standard — for example a scanned PDF without a text layer. If you come across content you cannot access, tell us and we will supply it in an accessible format.

You do not have to use this website to apply. If an online form is a barrier, call us on 01223 944049 and we will take your details, accept a CV another way, or arrange a different method of application. We will also make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process at your request.
