For candidates
- What kind of roles do you recruit for?
- We recruit for residential childcare and supported accommodation across the UK, including support workers, residential support workers, senior support workers, team leaders, deputy managers and registered managers.
- Do you offer permanent and temporary work?
- Yes. We provide permanent and temporary recruitment support for children's homes across the UK.
- Do I need experience to apply?
- It depends on the role. Some employers will consider transferable experience from care, education, youth work or health settings, while senior and management roles usually require sector experience and relevant qualifications. Each advert sets out what the employer is looking for.
- How do I register with you?
- Complete the registration form and tell us about your experience, location and availability. A member of the team reviews every registration personally and will be in touch to talk through suitable roles.
- What happens after I apply for a vacancy?
- We review your application against the role and contact you to discuss it. If it is a good fit we will talk you through the position before your details go anywhere, and we will let you know either way.
- Will my CV be sent to employers without my permission?
- No. We never send your details to an employer without speaking to you about the specific role first. CVs are held in private, encrypted storage and are only accessible to our recruitment team.
- What checks will I need for a role in residential childcare?
- Our recruitment process is designed to support safer recruitment practices appropriate to residential childcare. Exact checks and requirements are confirmed for each appointment with the employer.
- Can I apply if online forms are difficult for me?
- Yes. You do not have to use this website to apply. Call us and we will take your details another way, and we will make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process.
- How do I hear about new vacancies?
- Sign up for job alerts from the job board. You confirm your email address once, choose the areas of work that interest you, and can unsubscribe from any alert with one click.
For employers
- What services do you offer employers?
- Permanent and temporary recruitment support for children's homes across the UK, from single appointments to staffing a new home.
- How do I send you a vacancy?
- Use the vacancy submission form with the role details, or contact us and we will take the brief over the phone.
- How does your safer recruitment approach work?
- We build safeguarding into every stage, from the job description through to handover. The specific checks and evidence required are agreed with you for each appointment, and you remain responsible for your statutory recruitment records.
- What are your fees?
- Fees depend on the type of assignment and are agreed in writing before we start work. There is no charge for discussing a role with us.
- Do you work outside residential childcare?
- Our focus is residential childcare and supported accommodation. Talk to us about anything adjacent and we will be straight with you about whether we are the right fit.
- How is candidate data handled?
- Candidate records and CVs are stored in private, access-controlled systems. We share only what is necessary for a role, with the candidate's agreement, in line with our privacy policy.
