Common questions
- Do I need experience in residential childcare?
- Not always. Many of our clients recruit from youth work, SEN support, healthcare, sports coaching and hospitality where the person shows the right values and resilience. A full UK driving licence and a willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma go a long way.
- What checks will I need?
- An enhanced DBS check with children's barred list, full employment history with any gaps explained, at least two references including your most recent employer, and proof of your right to work in the UK.
- Will you send my CV without asking?
- Never. We discuss each role with you and only submit your details once you've agreed to that specific application.
- What are sleep-in shifts?
- Many residential roles include overnight sleep-in duties, paid at an additional rate on top of your salary. We'll always confirm the sleep-in arrangement and rate before you apply.
