About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Residential Support Workers to support children and young people within residential care settings.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy leading shifts, mentoring colleagues and making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.

Key responsibilities

  • Support children and young people in their daily lives
  • Lead shifts and support junior staff members
  • Promote independence, education and positive outcomes
  • Complete key work sessions and care documentation
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Support safeguarding and behavioural management strategies

Essential requirements

  • Experience within children's residential care
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or equivalent
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and best practice
